NeuraDAO Newsletter · July 2022
Busy month heads down in between more travel coming up this fall
We had a busy month of events and travel in June so the NeuraDAO core switched gears and went heads down this July building:
MVP NeuraDAO’s marketplace on testnet
New website in the work
Community collab with Web3 Women in Science
New open projects
The neurolist
New here? First, welcome to NeuraDAO! We invite you to check out our site and docs and come by our open community to ask any questions.
NeuraDAO marketplace wen?
What if there was a way for researchers, participants, scientists, and technologists to stake and get paid for their neurodatasets? As we teased last month, we’re rolling out our early marketplace MVP over the upcoming weeks and demo’ing to strategic partners.
Sneak peek at the new NeuraDAO site
We’ve been heads down designing a new site to showcase our new MVP. We’d love to get early impressions and feedback. If you’re interested interact with us in #📮feedback and we’ll setup a demo.
Are you a builder, designer, or creator interested in helping us shape NeuraDAO’s online presence? Hit us up for a community role, there might be some tokens involved.
New Collab with Web3 Women in Science
We could not be more excited to partner with the incredible community Web3 Women in Science to help demystify the navigation of joining a DeSci community. Thanks to our cofounder Inês for setting up this important DAO to DAO collab.

New office space in Zurich
We’re a global community but we also are super excited to have new office space in Zurich provided by our partnership with SPH. If you’re in Switzerland, stop by and say GM.
Community
You might’ve noticed some changes around the server and we want to know what you think. We’ve added a few new channels to try and organize some of the incredible projects our members are asynchronously pursuing. New channels include:
#📍irl: this channel includes upcoming events we’re attending or considering
#🎨art: this channel details some of the incredible neuroart the DAO or members are exploring
#🧠neurafollowneura: let’s mutually support each other in our pursuits and research interests on twitter.
Introducing the neurolist
We looked around and there was no one place that captured all of the research and development supporting neurotech. So we teamed up with @wtfh to create the neurolist. Check it out and slide by if you’d like to contribute!
Asks
Alliance DAO accelerator. We’re throwing our hat in the ring to participate in the Alliance DAO accelerator’s ALL9 cohort. Put in a good word with us if you know anyone at Alliance!
Help us grow the NeuraDAO community! We’re looking to connect with as many neuroscientists and technologists, academic and independent researchers, and industry neurotech founders. If you know of a rockstar speaker, we’d love to learn more about their interest in web3 solutions for neurotech.
Contribute! Are you or a friend of yours an active researcher or neurotech developer? If you’re looking for a team, funding, or data we’d love to chat with you.
Coming up in August
We’re doing a lot of internal testing on the contracts and marketplace MVP while meeting with academic researchers in the fields of devices, BCI’s, computational psychiatry, consumer devices, neuromodulation, and neuroimaging.
We’ll be launching our Neurotech Firesides with Neuras Amy Nick and Inês Pereira on Twitter spaces on August 28 at 1pm EST
If you know of any PI’s or researchers that might be interested, DM us on Twitter or hit us up in the #💫questions channel in the server.
So much more to share so be sure to join us in the NeuraDAO server for more updates from NeuraDAO! Thank you for being a part of our journey! We can’t wait to learn more about what you’re building.
