August was a crazy wrap to the Summer with hyperpolarization of activity at NeuraDAO
Wow. August flew by with all the momentum we’d been building over the summer with a boost in our twitter following (almost at 500 🙌) and more activity in the community. It feels like conference and ETH travel season again and we’ve been at it with an influx of partnering and investor pitch meetings in August. Here’s an update of all the things that happened last month:

NeuraDAO accepted into Gitcoin GR15 round
We launched our Gitcoin quadratic funding grant in the DeSci group for #GR15. If you’re not familiar with Gitcoin grants here’s a quick primer. TLDR: they’re an effort to fund open source and web3 projects like NeuraDAO and matching funds! Do us a favor and interact with this tweet to share with others why you love and support NeuraDAO.
New landing page who dis?
We shipped our new landing page with our new Neuradao.to domain that includes a slightly expanded description of the problem and our roadmap. Check it out!
AXON out $MYELIN
We’ve been having a ton of internal conversations about the best way to differentiate our mission to fund cutting edge neurotech research and development. The core members voted unanimously last month to migrate our yet to be released token from a very busy mark AXON to a ubiquitously important neuroscience-inspired token name MYELIN. More to come on our tokenomics and governance as we evolve the future of neurotech.

Not us getting featured in a recent Decentralized Investor communities article in Nature Biotechnology last week. The article featured a number of amazing DAOs doing incredible work to accelerate funding across the biotech space.
Taking meetings, hit us up
In addition to our DeSci grant funding efforts, we’re also actively taking meetings with web3 investors and backers about the vision behind NeuraDAO. Shoutout to our incredible DeSci frens across the ecosystem that have been dropping warm intros and connecting us across the globe. Our community has grown at 30% Month over Month and partners and backers are taking notice.
Neurolist.xyz is LIVE
We shipped the neurolist.xyz in collab with our web3 frens @wtfh and have over 88 of the most innovative neurotech companies. Don’t see your favorite stealth startup on the list? Add them! We look forward to having our homies from the companies on to talk more about the significance of neurotech.

CPC Translational Neuromodeling in Zurich and Online September 12-17: Co-founder Dr. Inês Pereira is a co-organizer of one of psychiatries biggest neuromodeling courses.
DeSci breakfast with Boost Capital September 13: We got invited to share more about NeuraDAO in Boston, if you’re in the area hit us up in #📍IRL
Hack the North September 16-18 at University of Waterloo: Core members Ahnaaf and Anush will be representing at Hack the North, Canada’s largest hackathon later this month.
DeSci Boston September 18: Our incredible homie and DeSci wizard James Sinka is hosting a DeSci event at MIT’s Media Lab. Livestream available
Web Summit and neura house October 24-4 in Lisbon: We’ll be hosting a neurotech Hackerhouse at ETH Lisbon and Web Summit later this fall. Space is limited so please sign up, find out more here and chat in #📍IRL
Coming up in September
We’re finalizing internal testing on the contracts and marketplace MVP and in talks with 3 of the World’s largest Neurotech data providers for a solid launch of the marketplace. We’re also working with a leading major research University on our first neurotech IP-NFT.
We’ll also be participating on the Women in Web3 Panel at the Academic Web3 Conference September 24-26 this month, please check it out!
